We can all make a stand...

I just wanna share with you guys this video... Hope you'll love it as much as I do.

Just Stand Up

The heart is stronger than you think
It's like, it can go through anything
And even when you think it can't,
it finds a way to still push on, though
Sometimes, you want to run away
Ain't got the patience for the pain
And if you don't believe it, look into your heart
The beat goes on

I'm tellin' you that
Things get better through whatever
If you fall, dust it off
Don't let up
Don't you know you can go
Be your own miracle
You need to know

Chorus:
If the mind keeps thinking
You've had enough
But the heart keeps telling you
Don't give up
Who are we to be questioning, wondering what is what
Don't give up
Through it all
Just stand up

It's like we all have better days
Problems getting all up in your face
Just because you go through it
Don't mean it got to take control, no
You ain't gotta find no hiding place
Because the heart can beat the hate
Don't wanna let your mind
Keep playin' you and sayin'
you can't move on

I'm tellin' you that
Things get better through whatever
If you fall, dust if off
Don't let up
Don't you know , y
ou can go
Be your own miracle
You need to know

(Chorus-All)

You don't gotta be a prisoner in your mind
If you fall, dust it off
You can live your life, yeah
Let your heart be your guide
Yeah, yeah, yeah
And you will know that you're good
If you trust in the good
Everything will be alright, yeah
Light up the dark
If you follow your heart
And it will get better
Through whatever

(Chorus All)

You got it in you, find it within
You got in now, find it within now
You got in you, find it within
Find it within you, find it within

Maybe, the best donation i can give is PRAYER! Hope we can extend any help, of any kind and of any way, for all the cancer victims... Let's all 'JUST STAND UP' to Cancer.

That's so ridiculous!

Few days ago, I had this phone conversation with a client (whose identity I will not divulge) complaining and asking a lot of questions why they received a notice regarding their account’s status.

I mean, it was just normal for me to entertain numerous clients with the same cases everyday but the way she sounded and how she reacted during the whole conversation kinda pissed me off.

She threw a lot of complaints and was also insisting to have some information which I can’t give to her due to some office protocols that I need to follow. She got upset and didn’t buy any of my explanations and told me with a fake American accent – “Are you sure? That’s so ridiculous!”  Then she was saying after that she have talked to some personalities from our head office, with a tone - ‘kilala mo ba si ganito, ganyan?’

The whole time she was speaking in English as if like she was talking to a foreigner, I don’t see any wrong with it, but I just feel that she was overdoing it, kumbaga may yabang factor.

Our conversation ended after I handed the phone to my supervisor. And guess what, my supervisor and I share the same sentiments towards that client. I don’t think that she have to talk that way.

Look, it’s not about her speaking-too-much-English-with-an-accent issue. I even envy her for that. I’ve learned that she’s an agent in a call center; she for sure deals with clients too. Maybe she was just too bothered with their account, I could understand her for that, but given that her job requires a lot of courtesy for her clients, she might as well have showed some to me though. Hope she’ll not encounter a client like her hehehe just kidding…

‘Are you sure? That’s so ridiculous!’ – I made this an expression of that day.

We can't achieve everything, but we can always try...

101 Things To Do Before You’re Old And Boring by Richard Horne & Helen Szirtes – isn’t it interesting? This is a book Shieryl and I bought just recently. Personally, I got so curious on this one because of its title and got really interested when I started to scan its contents.

It is inevitable that we all grow old one day. And I guess no one would ever like to reach their twilight years being miserable and sad just because they regret to explore life and missed to discover how fun and exciting life can be.

I like the author’s note at the back cover, it says… ‘There is nothing worse than being boring, except for being old and boring.’ I just thought that it would be great if I have at least accomplished a lot of different things – which includes those that I really wanted to experience during my lifetime, though it wouldn’t hurt me anyway if I will also try those that I promised I won’t even dare to – before I get all my hair gray. Before it happens, I think I have to do something now.

To start with: I have already done Thing To Do No. 36Start your own blog. One down, a hundred more to go hehehe… Good luck to me!!!

I’ve found out that there is a book of this kind for adults – 101 Things To Do Before You Die. Hope I can have it too, soon. Hope someone would wrap it as a Christmas present to me.

As promised...

I know, I mentioned in my first post that I will tell you the history behind those bruises on my leg. Well, here it is now. I'm no good in story telling that is why I’ll just post some memorable pictures I had together with my officemates during our Extreme Samal Adventure last August 22, 2008..

Call time: 7:00 am @ Island Tour Bus Terminal (Magsaysay Park)

We are waiting in front of Kusina Davao for the next bus.

Bus ride from Magsaysay going to Peñaplata.

@ Warehouse in Samal, waiting for the vehicle that will take us to our destination.

Sooo excited!!!

On our way to Kaputian... Yes, I was the camera man hehehe

Finally we're here. As usual... picture-taking!

First to zip! Ready, nervous but super exited haha...

 You're seeing it right.

It's more or less 10 seconds zip before you plunge into the sea.

This was after the first round, getting ready for another one.

This is my first time to try rappelling. The bruises i got were evidences.

Really scary but it is very fulfilling... an achievement for me..

Though, I never did it again after.

I missed this one. Me and Shieryl took the motor ride first going to Kaputian Beach.

Too bad...

@ Kaputian Beach Resort...

You really have to try it guys... The whole experience is EXTREMELY FUN!!!

You'll never regret it. Swear!

Untitled first blog

You might gonna be askin' "and what's with this picture?"

that is me, i mean.. my legs. Actually i'm not exactly gonna tell you now the history behind the bruises on my left leg, anyway i got it after i rappell an approximately 100 feet cliff at Samal Island.

This is going to be my first blog post here, and i guess i have to at least share something interesting about me, right? Aside from the reason behind why i got that wound on my left leg (which i would tell you maybe on my next post), i think this time i will be sharing with you one of my favorite things right now. Just try looking at my right leg, notice the slipper i was wearing? I love it. I got it from a vintage shop during one of our ocular inspections. It caught my attention the first time i saw it not only because i love slippers but because it is unique, isn't it? The brand? BEACH (dunno if the manufacturer of this is still existing).  The price? just Twenty (20) Philippine pesos. Believe me.  Without a second thought, i bought it right away. I don't have a collection of flip flops but if i were to choose between shoes and slippers, i'd definitely go for the latter. I feel much comfortable wearing them.
